Privacy Policy

LaneTab provides QR-code food and drink ordering for entertainment venues such as bowling alleys. This policy explains what information we collect when you place an order or when a venue uses our operator tools, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Order details — the items you select, modifiers, any note you add, and the lane or table the order is for.
- An optional name — if you add one so staff can match the order to you. You are not required to create an account to order.
- Payment information — card payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. LaneTab never sees or stores your full card number.
- Assistance messages — the text of messages you send to venue staff through the in-app assistance feature.
- Operator credentials — for venue staff, a venue PIN used to access the staff and admin consoles.
- Basic technical data — standard request information (such as device type and approximate timing) needed to deliver and secure the service.
How we use it
- To send your order to the venue’s kitchen and drink station and route it to the correct lane or table.
- To process payment and issue receipts and refunds.
- To relay assistance messages between you and venue staff.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
How information is shared
- With the venue you are ordering from — they receive your order and any assistance messages.
- With Stripe — to process your payment. Stripe’s handling of card data is governed by its own privacy policy.
- With infrastructure providers that host and deliver the service on our behalf.
We do not sell your personal information.
The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Text messages
If you give a venue your mobile number through LaneTab — to join a waitlist, or to confirm a booking — we use it only to send you messages about that visit, and to recognise you if you come back. Your number and your consent to be texted are never sold, rented, or shared with anyone for their own use.

Data retention & security
We retain order and assistance records for as long as needed to operate the service and meet the venue’s legitimate business and legal needs. Access to data is restricted by row-level security so that each venue can only see its own information.
Children
LaneTab is intended for use by adults placing orders at a venue and is not directed to children under 13.
Your choices
Because guest ordering does not require an account, you can simply choose not to provide an optional name. For requests about information associated with an order, contact us and we will work with the relevant venue to assist you.
Changes
We may update this policy and will revise the date above when we do.
